Thinking of buying this

£1k for a non tapper engine but its got a tapper loose.... Not worth the risk at £1k. My mates old car had 1 loose, ended up costing few hundred to sort it out....

It doesn't have a 'tapper' loose. Sometimes they just don't hold their oil too well so make a bit of noise on first start. Really isn't an issue at all.

It say in the add that due to the oil usage he's been considering rebuilding head. Should I be expecting to have to spend another few hundred on that? And if I were to get the head rebuilt, would you say I still got a good deal for the 1300 ish it would have cost? |
