Got a set of brand new TA coilovers with rear shocks from a 206. Fit on perfectly fine with new top mounts ofcourse however. Its rock hard there is no travel at all. They compress fine by hand off the car when fitting ect but while driving there is no travel from them. If yo hit a bump the whole back end just bounces up even full body weight jumping in the boot it only seems to be tyre flex?
I was told 206 suspension was abit too soft for a 306!

Are you meaning it's ONLY the back end being uber bouncy?

Cant see any reason for this other than the 206 beam is so different that the rear shocks are on full compression at standard height on a 306.
What is the overall condition of the beam?

The 306 is much heavier than a 206, springs/shocks are probably more compressed under the extra weight so they've lost the 'bounce' travel.
Just my opinion any way.
