3 door seats into 5 door?

I got a set of bucket seats and they are from a 3 door minz the 5, didnt think it would be a problém but when i wont to fit them the frame on the new seats are way off what can i do?

3 door seats and 5 door seats mount differently 5 door mounts straight to the floor but 3 door mounts on the tunnel and floor I think so only things you can do really are get happy with the angle grinder and welder and chop the subframes around I think mate but I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell you something definate

but you also dont get the matching door cards obviously

yeh you need to swap the subframes. for bucket seats i presume they have specfic mounts for the 3 door so without welding youll have to buy some 5 door specific sub frames.

I'm sure I wrote a guide on it ages ago..

I managed to do it in a matter of hours , iirc it required a hacksaw.

If you get the two seats, turn them upside down and look how the subframe a work, it's quite self explanatory
