Depends if it's genuine or aftermarket. Anything from £0-160, but I highly doubt it will be at the top end of that scale. ![[Image: 704e7db1.jpg]](http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i162/birk69/704e7db1.jpg)

Genuine ones normally go for about £70 or so in my experience... Aftermarket ones about £30-40...

If I post a pic up will anyone be able to tell me if its genuine or not?

It should have a code stamped on it somewhere. Google it and you can normally find out if you search hard enough. Got 80 for mine out of a hdi

Depends what breed of cat tbh. My friend will pay good money for a decent tabby but hates Persians Most people don't deal with many of the "big cats" but they're generally worth a bit more. Lynx being quite rare iirc So it can be hit and miss but I hope this helped :-) ![[Image: IMG_20130925_181339_zps95df48fa.jpg]](http://i727.photobucket.com/albums/ww278/4WayDiablo/IMG_20130925_181339_zps95df48fa.jpg)

Scrap value of a diesel partical filter is nothing more than the steel its made from if you cant sell it to someone privately

Really? I thought they were more? O well hey!

Some of the genuine ones are worth a bit more than you might think but most scrap dealers have cottoned on to this and will rob you blind and give you £40 and tell you you're lucky to get that. Find a specialist that deals in nothing but catalytic converters and contact them for a good price. If they are ceramic Dpf they are worthless, but if they are platinum finished they they are worth money

They aren't DPFs. I got £45 for a genuine mk4 golf diesel cat, depends entirely on the car and the cat contents tbh.

DPF's only came in around 05. doubt a treg dturbo has one... meanwhile cats were bunged onto everything prior to this until they learned more... |
