I am going to buy a diesel 306 and there is a £200 difference between the 1.9 d turbo and the 2.0 HDi. Which should I go for, I've been told the 1.9 is quicker than the HDi is this true. which is the better one to go for.

In all fairness that's kinda been derailed now given Tom talking about the 'g' word, even more so now given my extremely useful input in changing the filter for that word... whistle

But yes, there was a thread called 'Cars' in this same section which does have some good input about which would be better.

I have many golf parts left. Ended up breaking it for parts after a catastrophic shaft failure with my Golf.
