Just acquired a netbook which is running Xp. It's 3 years old and has a fresh install of xp. Being a netbook and having windows, it's shit and slow. All I'm going to use the computer for is auto data and Peugeot planet. Basically my car computer.
Is there anyway to strip down windows to the bare bones so it's quicker? Don't need shit like most of the software that comes with windows. Any of you guys help? Cheers!

Take the door cards off by the usual 3 torx clips and speaker torx
Then drill the rivets out the motor and remove the lil bolts holding the rail in
Obviously being galss keep a hold of it and wiggle it out
Et voila
You can now play around with your windows trying different settings :-)
