Why not just drag a JPG into AC and then use SPLINE to follow the contours.

Or even better, open the JPG in illustrator and convert it to vector and then open it in AC

do it, it would be useful on meets if someone blows one up, might get a bit awkward after a few hours of standing there holding your shirt up though.......
