Nah there all off for a bit of a change. Two needed touching up as they had been kurbed and I'm going to try and do something a bit different with them. Got the hard work done today so hopefully they will be done tomorrow and photos will be up.
Just bought a Laguna splitter and am in talks about some gti6 brakes so it's all go at the mo.
Oh and car is booked in on the 9th for a entire exhaust system from longlife

Car is being taken over to longlife on a flat bed first thing Monday for a full exhaust! Can't wait to hear it in the tunnel run.

Car looks great i love china 3drs! Where would be the best places to sound deaden? Did you do your roof because i have my headliner down now and i dont want to take it off again

Haven't done the roof. Run out of silent coat but will definitely be doing it in feb.
Depends how far you want to go with it but main ones are rear quarters, rear wheel arches, doors (inner and outer skin) and roof. If you want to go that little bit Thurber, definitely do the floor as that blocks out a lot of road noise.

So it's been an interesting weekend. Started fitting the gti6 exhaust manifold and all was going great. Old one came off nice and easy. Bad news is new one never made it on because I couldn't take the top engine mount off without breaking it. So old one went back! Good news is my old school alpine v12 amp is fitted and sounding great and new clutch cable is on and it has made a huge difference. Clutch is like brand new now!

So with the prep not going so well, the car was soon on its way to longlife in carshalton



Got a phone call a few hours later to say its done so I went to get it and if I'm honest....I'm not happy with it!
The quality of workmanship is great and the guys there were really helpful (even with bringing me a can of petrol when I broke down a few hundred yards down the road....) but it's too loud for my liking. It's a full mid sport system from the manifold back and it's rather loud! I'm going to leave it till the end of the month. If it grows on me then fair enough but I might get him to bung another silencer in.

I'm definitely coming to the tunnel. Just don't know if I will be in my car or grants.
It's not that loud actually. Took it for a long spin last night. It's just very 'boomy' inside the car which I don't like. The actual sound is lovely!

Must say, I've taken it out for a longish drive this afternoon and it's starting to sound different already like he said it would which I found a bit odd! Really starting to grow on me now so Definately think I will leave it as it is but I might get a different tip on it at a later date that fills the cut out in th bumper a bit better. Can't imagine it costing too much.

Not fitting it till weekend after next but if no one has done it, I will write a guide.
