		It's temporarily fixed now, it's in a good enough state to get to KrisB's tomorrow! (at least I hope so...)
I got another new cap, screwed it in all the way this time with lots of effort, minimal damage. Sealed around the edge with chemical metal.
It's still leaking but only a tiny amount which will probably equate to less than a litre of diesel for the 54 mile journey to Kris's.
