its come to my attention that some of the bosch pumps on the 406 are electronically controlled and cant be used on the Dturbos? i just wanted to know if this was true or not as i rang my scrappers and they have one in with lines and injectors for 50 quid but of course could be useles to me? could anyone shed some light on this for me please?
thanks

Yes, thats right, most 406s seem to have the electronically controlled bosch in our local scrappys so your is probably the same!
#3
so are they no good for the Dturbos?
#4
Don't think so....you want the completely manual one.......
#5
how can you tell? is there like some plugs/switches ect on them somewhere?
#6
Yeah, wiring is the giveaway lol!!

will have a throttle pot on top, will also have an electronic solenoid underneath the pump to control the timing piston.

The 406 pump will work on a 306 it just wont work to its full potential as the 306 cant control the the advance system on the 406 pump.
No good for tuning basically.
