Front Caliper Dust Seal Protector

Rebuilding a set of calipers right now, and have what I think is a dust seal protector with the BrakesInternational kit. Anybody know the correct way of fitting, or am I correct in thinking that they're not worth the hassle (I get the feeling they'll rattle like a twat!).

never seen that, which caliper?
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
