Tank pickup / strainer washer

Hi, went to clean out the tank strainer (there was a lot of filth blocking it!!) and I've lost the rubber washer - went to pick it up and just flew out of my fingers due to the slipperiness of diesel and I just cannot find it (might have even gone in the tank). Does anyone know what size it is or where I can get another from quickly?
