what actually is needed to fit the cat? its only the fire ring and bolts for the manifold?

Euro car parts do a full fitting kit for £12 give or take

Thanks guys. Had a really bad experience with ECP recently but what can you do?
Yeah just a fire ring, and bolts and all the misc springs and cups and top hat washers etc.

You can also get all the bits on ebay but its pricey on there and most of the time its euro car parts trading under a different name.

Thanks. My ebay feed used to be full of genuine kits but they've all gone now that I need one.

Give peugeot a try, got a kit for jimbo's hdi back along and that wasn't overly expensive and at least you know it will be the right parts

That does look like the right one, thanks. In the end I found one online somewhere that was 12something posted and appeared correct so I bought that.

it will move up down left right on the fiber ring but it should be tight
