Done a clutch change on my girlfriends 206 HDI the other month and now I can hear the O/S/F wheel bearing ever so slightly.
I think I've over tightened the hub nut to 450Nm instead of 325Nm, what are the chances of them being damaged and would you think if I undone them and torqued them to 325Nm would they be ok?
Going to be torquing them tomorrow after work.

Depends on how many miles you've done over tightened and the quality of the bearing, I've got away with it before but it always needs changing within sort of 6 months.

Does jumping on a big bar until they're tight not qualify as acceptable?

Big torque wrench at work. It's got a 3/4 inch fitting.
