Very happy I think its made the front end look a lot better

I did notice this plug hanging on the drivers side right behind the fog light, maybe left it out when I changed the wing a few weeks ago.

Anyone know what it is?

Its a spare plug, just part of the generic loom.

It's for the alarm switch for the bonnet catch Smile

They are saying that if there is no alarm plug in on the bonnet catch you don't need it plugged in, as it is a spare plug.
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

This.
If you had an alarm, there would be a micro switch on the bonnet catch with a cable running to under the drivers head light to plug into this one. If its spare, just tape it up and leave it be Smile
