Central locking problem?

So here's my question my central locking is dodgy the key doesn't lock or unlock doors I have to use the barrels. Now this is the Patten to lock car. Lock passenger door which looks the rear pass door to. Then go to drivers rear open door lock drivers door and then lock rear driver door. This problem is doing my head in. It'll open all doors at once but not lock them ????

So what does happen when you lock it using the remote or drivers door key barrel?

The remote doesn't work. And if I lock through drivers barrel it's locks then unlocks

Check the door loom on the drivers door. Do any other electrics not work? Windows? Speakers?

Yea passenger window and driver speaker don't work

Ah, in that case, definitely check the looms them!! It's pretty straightforward, just peel back the rubber cover on the loom between the door and body and check for any wires that are either shorting or completely snapped.
