It'll vary depending where you go and how good you want it to be. IMO, you can get a perfectly good finish on it with rattle cans, especially smaller stuff like trim. Just take your time over it!

The finish was ok when I did it Curt, but the front facing plastic parts are starting to fade now. Wouldnt a professional be able to put a longer lasting finish on it?

You shouldn't have any issues with fading anyway really... Did you lacquer it?
