This is gonna sound a bit numb
But need to take my old spare wheel carrier off my old 306 an put it on my new one. Before I even go an look at it from memory it is just 2 hooks at the end of the cage is it just a case of with theses etc,

yea does sound "numb"....
there maybe a 10mm bolt holding a little plate on one of the hooks to help secure it ..lots of wd40 also...you will want the back of the car as high up on axle.stands as possible to make it a easy job Wishes for more power...

only if it wokrs!
 get some freeing oil and then clean up and grease the lowering bolt too... can be a save on a wet copd night when you get a flat and its seized! PS a Legend deserves rep?!
