OK so it has the silliest name on the face of the planet but this was revealed / teased today, what do people think of the idea?
Unfortunately there are no pictures yet, just an announcement. 180bhp 1.4T engine in a tiny little car could be a laugh? But then it is a Vauxhall, so it probably won't be.

Here's a standard 'Adam' like those going on sale this month-
(this is the most French picture I could find)
 ![[Image: Vauhall-ADAM-13.jpg]](http://insidelane.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Vauhall-ADAM-13.jpg) ![[Image: tumblr_m8sa1rxKXe1qzqua1o1_500.jpg]](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8sa1rxKXe1qzqua1o1_500.jpg)
This or a 208 GTi? Or a Fiat 500? Or a Mini Cooper?

Or a GTi6?
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

It will be barely controllable, you'll spend most of your time trying to keep it out of nearby hedges and will chew through tyres at an alarming rate. Could be a great laugh tho.
 f*cking moronic name tho.

Sort of looks like someone has crashed a rcz into a ds3! Tbh if it's anything like all the current vauxhalls, it won't be able to handle the power. Will be completely useless!

The Insignia VXR, new Astra VXR and Corsa VXR all have better reviews than their predecessors, with the latter being one of the best hot hatches you can buy right now. Sadly.

I wouldn't bet on it being all that fast though. Modern cars seem to loose all their power in the drivetrain!
Take the nurburgring corsa as an example. 202 BHP, and a 0-60 of 6.5 seconds? I don't follow..

And the Audi TT RS. 335 BHP, 0-60 of 4.6.

 They should be faster!

Bet it won't be fast as its made out to be, it's the bottom of the VXR range so it will be the slowest. It will probably weigh around 1300kg. But still, small cars with big power are just epic.

Just found the funniest thing about the Vauxhall Adam...
The colour options, such as these gems -

 "Saturday White Fever" - White
 "The Greyfather" - Grey
"I'll be Black" - You get the idea
 "Red n' Roll"
 "Purple Fiction"
 "Papa Don't Peach"
 "James Blonde"
 "Sweet Greens"
 "Pump up the Blue"

And my personal favourite? "Buzz Lightgreen"

It's going to have a curb weight of 1086 kg (2,390 lb) to 1,135 kg (2,500 lb)

So it's going to be a riot.

According to parkers figures for the estate, my stage 1 HDi is only 105bhp/tonne....no wonder it feels so slow!

Looks wank, will be wank... No car these days is allowed to be fun in they way I think fun should be and every other enthusiast thinks.it should be, its all tuned to mummys boys who's parents will buy them the car, so its all down to how chic it is and how well it fits with the Twitter generation.. Not how well it'll really go round corners when you give it proper stick and how nice it is past the limit... The 306 was the last of the era of cars that were still in touch with their mechanicals... The 208 gti for example, 200hp in something that the base model is sub 1000kg yet it still be gash...

Actually....fill the tank on the estate and it'll weigh the same as the Golf!! Just over 1200 kg. Parkers says 1260 but it wasnt that much at the scrap yard lol, and I'd hope thier scales are accurate!
