So my car has has a minor leakage which started few days ago. Got under today and this pipe was hanging loose just in front of the sump.

What is it?

   

Picture is taken from just under the front bumper, looking directly under the car.

On the side of the filter housing there will be a thumb wheel. This is where you drain the water/diesel. Tighten the thumb wheel to stop it leaking. If it doesn't stop leaking you need to replace an o ring there.
