Patching my driver's seat

Just ordered this for a tenner to cover the inevitable bolster tear on the drivers seat www.mastaplasta.com Anyone tried it or will I be the experiment phase?

I need to sort the bolster on mine so interested in results.

@toms306 Yes it is just a patch but my motor is gonna be a workhorse rather than a show winner so just want cheap fixes to make it better rather than a soulution to bring back to show room condition.

Anyhow, here is the patch tomorrow I shall fit

Just had a mooch at the site you linked... nice idea, although would this interfere with the airbag if deployed?
I thought the seam was suppose to split if set off?

I doubt a leather sticker could have any effect of the force of an airbag being deployed lol

Good point, and yes it would, that seam is designed to be weak to let the airbag out in the right place. That said, I'm not sure if anyones side airbags are still operational anyway.
