Iv also got 406 hdi 2000 year can any1 help
I have a problem of the car cutting out when warm and when its on boost engine will cut out car starts fine n drives well

Hi thanks reply i have tried that also has in tank pump replaced it comes up with primary fuel pump fault

Sounds like the pump or regulator are past it then

Best bet is to try a brand new regulator. I cleaned mine and it worked a bit and then died again. I bought one of the Bosch ones on ebay from Poland. Arrived next day!

Just make sure you get a new O-ring for the top of it (or reuse your old one - I did) since replacing It I have done 300 trouble free miles
