Just a quick question ( perhaps a little bit of a stupid one) but do glow plugs have different sizes? If so which do i need for my dt?

Glow plugs do have different sizes. Best bet is to go to your local car parts store, give them your reg and theyll get the correct ones for you. Hopefully.

go on ebay, search for Bosch glowplugs 306dturbo


Bosch part numbner is 0250201039
Stage1 to Stage3 HDI build thread

Only difference with the pugs is length.
But all the xud turbos use the shorter type

That was my first thought but its only when cold and soon sorts its self out, cant see any air in the pipe to the pump
