I'm sure the answer is on the forum somewhere but I can't find it with the search function.
I'm fitting a fmic just now and will need to wire in the new fans. I have two sets of wires (one for each fan) yellow and orange wires for one and yellow/green stripe and purple wire for the other. Does anyone know which ones are negative and which are positive?
The wiring isn't with the car at the moment so I can't check with a meter.
Any help much appreciated.

Dont worry about it. If you get them the wrong way round it will run backwards !

Thanks. Used the meter last night. Yellow and green stripe was definitely an earth and from positioning on old fans I'm guessing that the orange one is the same although I was getting an open circuit. All the connections at the multi plug are manky and green so need to make sure I'm getting connections there and then hopefully it'll all work. If at least one fan spins the right way it should be ok!

Yup, opened the box and decided they looked like something that should stay so have made a bracket to hold the relay box so all wiring/ functions will be basically standard. Just needed to know which wires to crimp the male/ female bullet ends onto.
