Can't seem to get the boost it had before it would go to 35+ and pulled fantastically. Same turbo but with wastegate welded shut (was just wedged before) and new rebuilt pump by tom(zx volcane) got plenty of offboost fuel and a haze on boost but it will not go about 23 maybe 25 when your getting upto 5k.
Same cooler setup only thing I changed was to a hdi gearbox but surely this wouldn't affect it.
Anyone any ideas I think pump is advanced pretty much all the way on the bracket

I know it may sound stupid but any play in the shaft of the turbo?
Typically a TD04 will still boost 20-25 PSI even if it's f**ked.

Do you have any smoke whilst on boost. If not then you are burning all the fuel and the turbo cannot boost more without more fuel. If you have smoke on boost then you either have a boost leak/manifold leak or a dodgy turbo

Ye it gives a slight haze out on boost. Going to get another turbo just incase it needs changing while the inlets out the way
LDA has veg on tho gave it a wipe will check it again incase it got there by accident while the top was off
