Anti roll bar bushes

Can anyone help on which size my car has .
Motorspares are stating 17mm right up to 22mm
W reg 2.0 hdi 3 door

What spec is your car? A d turbo spec will have gti6 suspension I'm pretty sure so that will be 22mm. Most the others will be 17mm I think

Yh its a dturbo hdi
Im assuming its 22 as i have the 18mm ball joints

Yeah im pretty sure it would be. You got anything to measure the anti roll bar with? Best to double check

Will be 21 most likely.
22s are rare as.

Had to drop the subframe in the end
Just to fit the bushes .
What a balllache that job was.
Fitted now and alot better to drive no rattles or nocks

You dropped the subframe?

Unbolt the bushes and the drop links if your struggling change them no bother

Yh subframe off linkages disconnected steering rack
Long story but had to be done to do the job

I dropped the subframe when I did some the other day. Makes it a lot easier

almost felt like i had the wrong bushes as lining up everything right wasnt happening for me
So took it to the other level and subframe got unbolted

To changing some of the bushes lol

I don't think they are that common to need changing but when they do make a fair rattle when they are gone. I had to do them on my black d turbo when i first got it and we did them on damo's hdi the other day

Yh mine wont need a change for ten years and thats if the car survives that long
