Hi just wondering if there's any difference between beams n there colour tube
I've got a hdi black tube (standard height) and gti beam yellow tube is it worth fitting as I've got full gti front legs n hubs

its not the color that matters, its the arb and torsion bar sizes

Tube you have been painted due to rust? I didn't realise there was diff colours, thought they were all rusty yellow lol

I think yellow tube axles have gti6 spec torsion bars and arb, black tube is standard I think

I think it's been painted at some point. My old '95 xrdt had yellow tb's

The tube is the same on all 306's.
Its the TBs and ARB that are different. Torsion bars are all red but have different colour bands round them. 2 Silver ones are gti. 2 green ones are VTS

Ah i never knew... interesting to know. The beams' being changed soon on the HDi; any tell-tell signs of type/size of TB?

Checked my tbs their red with 2 purple strips
what does that mean ??? 
2 purple strips is meridian...19mm tbs and about 20mm higher than sports spec as standard.
Edit - damn, bit of an unnecessary revival barney.
