Hi All, just a few pics showing progress on under sealing my recently acquired Ph1 DT!

   

^ High and dry!

   

^ Loose rust wire-brushed away. Mostly clean underneath, but this area was a slight cause for concern.

   

^ ... as was the spare wheel cage. Nicely cleaned up and ready to coat in Schutz.

   

^ These rear bumper mounting points were all rusted up, but managed to clean the thread up perfectly, so they can actually be used for mounting the bumper now!

   

^ Masked up. Decided to seal the whole sill to be safe.

   

^ Don't skimp on PPE!!

Good work.  Have been meaning to clean up the underneath of mine for the last 2 years.  Am sadly heading in to yet another winter without having got it done!

Had any more thoughts about the rear beam? The 205 GTi rims look great btw.
