Hi all.
How can I synchronise the key fob to my car. I put a new battery in, now it wont start the car, it will lock and unlock though. It is a phase 3 fob (r/f). I have read that you simply switch ignition on /off, on again and press lock button, according to car manual this just deadlocks the car. I had a key cut from the chip in the original fob, this works ok.
Your help/knowledge would be appreciated.

i suspect when you changed the battery the small IMMO chip pushed into the plastic case has fallen out

the immo chip is the bit that unlocks the ecu for the car to start

the board with the battery is just for the central locking
