Having trouble getting my steering column volume control to work, i have the patch leads and have followed the instructions word for word but still no joy, the stereo can be used with steering controls so im fresh out of ideas anyone any suggestions ?

Is there a setting in your headunit you have to do or something?
Doesnt even own a 306.

cant find one in the settings and the user manual only talks about how it is steering control ready

Should just plug straight in and work, I've had 3 JVC stereos and all worked in the 306 straight away.
