Ive seen a thread on here before about egt probe positions but cant seem to find it again! Where is a good position to tap a egt probe on a T2 mani/ td04
Also what drill size is used for the 1/8 tap? (11/32 5/16 or just a 8mm?)

I drilled it at the bottom of the manifold on the curvy bit.
Not sure on drill bit size, i just went up the sizes til it felt like the right size to start threading it.

IIRC I used an 8mm bit and its been fine. You want the tip as close to the centre of the turbine inlet as possible.
