Dashboard lights

Hello. I have put a switch in the radiator fans and now the dashboard lights dont light up.
I have checked all the fuses and all are ok. Any sugestion?

where did you fit the switch is it in the right hand console next to the headlight levelers?

did you unplug the yellow wire pair clipped to the panel as that has a metal link bypasing the dimmer switch
