door loom repair ... what am I missing?

Separated the door loom today on my td and cant seem to pull it out the car, nor can I see where it goes in behind the fuses. What am I missing please?

It doesn't pull out far...but you just need to pop the grommet out of the chassis door pillar.

there is another grommet behind the door pillar too. not sure how much give there will be but it isnt alot

where is the wire breaks likely to be? further inside the car?

Breaks are usually near the end with the plug on I find.

It's a bit of a prick to get out, I had trouble too when I stripped the car as you can't see too well behind there.
