Hey guys just bought 100w 5000k h7 bulbs for my hdi, I tried one for about 30 secs and I smelled burning when I was close to it, is there any reason this would be happening? I thought 100w bulbs were fine with normal wiring where hids would need different wiring? Help!

Nope 100w bulbs will draw too much current for the standard loom. Hid's are only 35w
