spray painters???

Hi looking at gettin my pug roof sprayed in black and in parts rest car the laquer peeling I hears that u can sand down the peeling part and polish it any ideas be appreciated

NOOOO!!
If the lacquer is peeling, as soon as you touch it with sand paper,you will take off the loose lacquer and very quickly take the paint off. take it to a bodyshop to repair!
Your thinking of removing orange peel in the lacquer. You can flat that back and polish it up to get a mirror finish but once again, you have to be careful so you dont go through the lacquer.

largely depends on where you live but i was quoted £200 to do mine on my old car but the roof on that was in a really bad way so needed a lot of fixing before it could have a high gloss coat!

or you can quarter that price and get it vinyl wrapped in whatever colour you want? just something to add to the mix

Also true but if you have any damaged paint of bodywork, this will show through so you will have to get that fixed first by which time, it would work out more economical to get it painted

If your not planning to take the vinyle off again. Just flat the laquer peal back. (it will take the paint off but isnt an issue) then stick the vinyle over the top that way it wont show through. Sorted

Bonnet grille and boot are all smoothed. Painted orange and yellow flip paint but Diablo ok inside. I want them moonstone inside out.

Yeah its not too bad, just couldnt get a good enough finish with the rattle cans, even as just a temp measure over winter.
