I'm gonna say no, iirc the coils touch at the end.
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs
yup, looks like standard old Peugeot spring.
edit, looking at the end of the wire, and the wear patch, theres a bit missing.

Is the end with the little "bend" supposed to be up or down? :p (It's my first Peugeot and it had coilovers mounted when I bought it)

That spring has snapped. Not cut, sheer mark on the end is indicative of a fracture
Given the choice between Niall and the sheep. I would choose the sheep!
