Changing r14 for r13
#1
I have a 306 meridian and i am wanting to fit a set of r13 winter tyres and steels onto it. I normally have the standard r14 wheels. Are these compatible re arch clearance turning clearance etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. [/align]

I think they'll fit, well they might, brake calliper clearance may be the issue, if they fit then they fit Smile
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

So if i can do up the nuts and the brakes work there is no other reason they shouldnt fit? Would it be best to test the fronts or the rears ?

Which age and engine do you have?

13s will only fit over 247mm calipers.

If they where too big to cover the breaks you wouldnt even fit them on, so yeah. Speedo will over read abit more though might be doing 35mph on Speedo and 30mph real time like

It will likely have 266 brakes (not breaks) and the 13s wont fit

I guess it's X reg if it could be 2000 or 2001, in which case it should be 266's as Piggy says.

How important is the width? I can buy 165 65 r14s on steels these are narrower than the 185s i have at the moment on my alloys. What would this effect?
