Which springs to avoid
#1
Obviously the shiney ones, H+R/Eibachs are a little out of my price range at the moment so i am after a viable, cheaper, alternative.

Looking at some of the AP lowering springs. They are brand new, rated and correct rate for the HDi and are £60.

i am not after formula one handling just yet,  but i wnat to know if there are any (cheaper than eibach) alternatives that dont sacrifice all of the quality.

lowering it 40mm, so eibachs and some others are already out.
Given the choice between Niall and the sheep. I would choose the sheep!

The ride on cheap springs is awful if you're bothered by that. I've had red ones and yellow ones (GMax and Spax iirc?) and hated both. Eibachs are the best I've had. Followed by Koni's but don't really see those any more!

can still get koni's... eibach's don't do a 40mm spring for my car.. wondering if I can get a 20mm spring for a xsara VTS and achieve the same thing.
