| Update:
The rev counter started working again. No idea what caused it to be functional again, but I am happy :)
What is also interesting is that the oil presure gauge is also working well now...... |

| The circuit board looked okay to me. I have a spare cluster that I can try. Stupid things are just so damn difficult to get out, even with steering wheel removed.

| Yes. All wings are the same... including the convertible ones. Only difference between phase 1 and phase 2/3 (larger hole where indicator is located). |

| I have one from a 2.0 8v which should fit a 2.0 16v as well, according to ServiceBox.
The GTI6 one has a different shape and does not fit the 2.0 16v XSI. |

I vacuum cleaned them first. Then I used PoorBoys APC to clean them. Just brushed it in, left them for a few minutes and then used an extractor (simple small one) to clean them.
