its an aluminium part so I would imagine so, I've never seen a brand new arm so could not be 100% certain. I'd fit it and tighten to the specified torque setting, too loose and it'll work its way off...

best bet is a 306 loom, you'll also need a 306 turbo for it to fit nicely with a 306 downpipe.

changing the diff by itself is not a simple process with an MA, its the first part that goes into the casing before everything else, its also pressed on not bolted.

plenty of area to smash a sacrificial 12 point socket onto that type of bolt, do the other 3 up to torque will help also. smashy smashy!! 9/16 rings a bell. I have also managed to drill the head...

its no stronger than the 16v, same crank and block. I'd either rebuild the engine or put the 16v in.

as they were all post 1999 they will have the ES9J4S engine with the multiplexed ecu, FBW and vvt. same as the D9 406, an updated version of the D8 cable throttle engine.

if there is no grounding from the ecu to turn the relay on, the ecu may not be seeing a crank signal, or the ecu may not be powered up or possibly not unlocking with the keys
