SORTED
Reassembled again with new seal smeared Granville instant silicon gasket and now still dry after a good bleed and 100 miles use.
Now why the hell did I not do that in first place :@ |

Well disconnected hose from rad, cleaned off corrosion and fitted new seal lubricated with silican grease and reassembled. Thought it felt a lose fit when I pushed it back in place. It's leaking worse... |

OOPS - Have I started something here - LOL. Mines the later 'spring clip' type bottom hose connection. 'O' ring seal? |

Thanks for the info guys - Will go a new seal and hope only minor corrosion on hose sleeve. |

So after nearly 7 dry years of ownership my Pug has developed a slight water leak from lower water hose coupling at the radiator. It's the 'spring clip' type of coupling and I intend to replace O ring... |
