| Yeh, even a dt box instead of Hdi, the longer ratios would make a difference. I reckon, XUDT with Hdi box would be the way to go. Nice and long legged for the longer runs (even though only occasional)... |

| And it'll make it more economical on longer runs. Currently it's doing 3000 rpm at a little over 60 which really knocks the mpg. |

| Out of interest, what engine is in it and sort of economy are you getting?
Mine's an M49 (mk1) with dw8 and only getting mid - late 30's (local running around, not ragging it and not going over 60)

| Excuse my ignorance, but is the Hdi box higher geared (final drive) than a XUDturbo box?
Also, are they a straight swap as far as bellhousing pattern and mountings are concerned?

So my flywheel will have the two lugs on for the sensor to read rpm. If I get a clutch kit for a 206 180, that should fit straight onto my flywheel... |

| Pretty sure my crank sensor is on top of the bell housing, I'll have to check though.
I'd like to keep the rev counter etc all working, so will try and use my DW8 flywheel on the XUD. |

I don't know if there are any real differences between early and late Mk1's and between late Mk1's and early Mk2's though.
