Okies the long and short of this is the car died one evening after being driven unusually sensibly.
The only symptom was the car not starting, trying to crank over but only with very minimal compre... |

As said, air leak.
Behind the deisel filter there'll be a hole with a spikey plastic bit in, the rubber seal in this will have perished.
My 106 was a bugger for this for weeks, take the unit off, st... |

I should add, since I wired it all back how it was and plugged it up it's stopped working completely.
And it gets foookin freezin' round here on a nite til summers in full swing. |
