Id try a smear of gasket paste or firegum tbh. The indented side goes inside the EGR pipe from my recollection, as the clamp has an Angled lip. :-)

Lol, the Peugeot service guide says even less than Autodata. Pre 2 da Nm 1st Tightening 6da Nm 1st and only Angular 180 degrees. HaynesHeadcrackers.com :-)
