RE: Brakes - little/nothing there - ginge191 - 31-10-2016 So spent some time up the yard this evening; unfortunately welding and turbo clocking took priority. Saturday will be bleed day numero dos RE: Brakes - little/nothing there - ginge191 - 14-11-2016 Sorted this now - for thread history, bled system from MC - nothing there at all - got another 500ml of dot 4 - bled each corner, same route i did before, starting farthest from MC, first caliper, bled out A LOT and voila, a lot of air followed. Bled the following 3 and not great deal but fluid. Drove and voila, I have kick ass brakes. Still feel very '205' like, but working and working a LOT better than before (which passed the mot with sufficient brake sufficiency) RE: Brakes - little/nothing there - Eeyore - 14-11-2016 Glad to hear you got this sorted. A breath of fresh air following a very small breath of stale air LOL Good to hear it's moving along though, I know the feeling of a project having work done on it but only getting further from a roadworthy state. |
