RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Eeyore - 03-11-2014 This is just too far away for me I just cant justify driving there. If there is a decent number of names down and people from closer to me to convoy with then I will put my name down. Good idea though and its a cracking bargain. best of luck. RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Seb_Ryan - 03-11-2014 A little note for people going.. Take some spare tyres.. It eats them especially on the near side front lol RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - silverzx - 03-11-2014 I'd be interested to know how this would operate. Open pit? Drive on / off freely? Tyre changing facility? Tyres for sale as well as changing facility? Can part of the track / an area be sectioned for drifting? RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Eeyore - 03-11-2014 I have never seen tyres for sale on a normal track day. I think thats probably more drift specific... "Accidental back end action" is allowed (hang back, make sure no ones behind, go for it like a hero). As for drifting, get caught you'll be told off, get caught a lot you'll be kicked off ![]() RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Seb_Ryan - 03-11-2014 Yeah llandow DONT like drifting..even lift off oversteer they flag you lol All the times ive been to llandow they do beginner, intermediate then advanced, all 30 min sessions, then after lunch its open pit They do have a nice cafe there though lol RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - silverzx - 03-11-2014 (03-11-2014, 03:58 PM)Norledge Wrote: The days tend to go like this... Right I get you. So first session aim to destroy tyres, maybe pop some boost hoses, shit some drive shafts or something to tie you over for a couple of hours. Hmm, don't like the sound of that, me and a friend would be 100% committed to putting a deposit down if it wasn't a problem.. Not worth risking £100 for the sake of "you might get kicked off". RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Matt-Rallye - 04-11-2014 Very keen for this as im fond of landow and its local! To get the numbers up could i post this up on www.clio16valver.co.uk? as they are always keen for a trackday and are a decent bunch of guys ![]() RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Dum-Dum - 04-11-2014 End of april would suit me better and lets just have it as a 306oc track day. I think I need to work out the costs a little more too as it could get bloody expensive. 155 miles away, 310 miles return trip thats 10 gallons of fuel. Add 4.5 hours on track with an estimated average speed of 60mph and doing an estimated 15mpg is 4 gallons per hour or 18 gallons total so for the day thats 28 gallons at £6 per gallon totalling £168 Plus potentially a pair of front tyres for the federal 959RSRs that are going on my spare wheels is £125. Plus the track fee at £100 Plus anything I break Realistically £400. Hmmmmmmmmm I think I'll let you know closer to the time. RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Matt-Rallye - 04-11-2014 Ok so dum dum is being a lady garden and is scared a mk1 clio is gonna bum shaft his rallye ![]() RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - cully - 04-11-2014 306oc track day is not a viable option as i dont see 20 interested parties it needs to be opened up to others to get the numbers ![]() RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Eeyore - 04-11-2014 open it up to another club I would say. I dont think you will get the 20 needed here. Better to have more than too few! RE: 306OC Trackday - Llandow Open Pit - Date TBC - Chris_90 - 04-11-2014 Do we have to be in french car? If it doesn't.matter about what car I'm in I'm game I'll put my name down!
