NA manifold - nominous - 11-07-2014 Found this difficult to search for as can't do less than 3 chars in the search so "NA" is out. Does the XU NA intake manifold fit ? I'm guess not else more people would use them, or are they just very restrictive and that's the reason ? RE: NA manifold - toseland - 11-07-2014 well, first answer is i dont know what are you trying to acheive? - if its a non-IC manifold then the xantia diesel ones come without the intercooler bollox on top of it.. RE: NA manifold - nominous - 11-07-2014 But they sit above the valve cover. Need to avoid that ![]() NA manifold - rocker8742 - 11-07-2014 I'm gonna take a guess and say your talking about the xud nad intake and not the gti one as that deffinitely wouldn't fit lol RE: NA manifold - nominous - 11-07-2014 Yeah, good point. XUD not XUD turbo. RE: NA manifold - Piggy - 11-07-2014 The early xud non turbo, some were a metal inlet which came over the rocker, bit like my 2.1 intake does... It will fit yes...xantia mani will do same job with less metal though RE: NA manifold - mr_fish - 11-07-2014 What about the real Early intakes, like on the original XUD7/9 in the 205/305s etc ![]() Thats got nothing over the cam cover...bar the intake pipe. RE: NA manifold - Danny Wideboy - 11-07-2014 C15 citroen van also had the right fanimold to fit a FMIC to. RE: NA manifold - nominous - 14-07-2014 Ah, ok so there are some square ports then. If that wasn't square it would possibly be ideal. Nothing over the cam cover is best. Can route the pipe out to the side. Vaux/Isuzu 4EE1 engines, you can swap the intake inlet to either side. Very handy when going FMIC ![]() |
