Which pins are connected in ODB2 lead - jay8086 - 23-03-2013

Hi guys, I need a hand fixing my lexia3 to odb2 lead. I took the odb2 end [the green plug] apart and found a loose wire. It is a purple wire and should go to either what I think is pin 5 or pin 6. The connected wires are

pin 1 = light green
pin 2 = grey
pin 3 = orange/white
pin 4 = red
orange
pin 5 = ???
pin 6 = ???
pin 7 = black/white
pin 8 = black
pin 9 = green
pin 10 = red
pin 11 = pink
pin 12 = blue
pin 13 = brown
pin 14 = brown
pin 15 = white
pin 16 = yellow

Please help coz I don't wanna blow the car up lol.
Thanks

Thanks mate, that's great I can trust mines properly connected now. Nice job on the pics too, this could help a few people as it looks like some of the diagnostic trouble on mine could have just been the cable.
