WRONG BLOODY HUB - Daniel-mcgowan - 17-02-2013

Asked for a hub for my hdi glx and they give me the 16mm hub so my car is left on the drive like this!

I'm not sure if I should replace the bearing adsembly in the old hub? Think this would be cheaper?

In all honesty by eye it looks the same, but the vernier callipers tell a different story. But I did say I need one for a HDI. I'm guessing they have just given me any diesel one with abs. Pain in the arse. Do you have a HDI also ?

Yup. Incidentally, if anyone within 50 miles of Southampton has an 18mm nsf abs hub that i can collect today, then please pm me. Ta lol.

It's difficult when trying to get a Hub.

Been down to GSF before now where they told us a GTi6 (looking on the database using the reg), Had 18mm balljoints when in fact it had 16mm.
Best thing to do guys is check it in a scrapyard by taking your existing balljoint and seeing if it fits into the hub.
