Actually fine to be honest. Scraped it once trying to park half on the road half on the curb as I had little choice, other than that it's been great! Makes such a difference to the drive too - was very surprised, as I've had just an upper brace on prior to that and make very little difference to the drive! Re: Phase Win 6 - SKoob - 28-08-2013 Sounds good. I'm tempted to go for both upper and lower braces and my car will be lowered by about 60/70mm so good to know it shouldn't scrape much and its worth the hassle of fitting ![]() RE: Phase Win 6 - Ed Doe - 28-08-2013 Looks beautiful vaughan. Keep up the good work polishing it! RE: Phase Win 6 - Just Sean - 28-08-2013 Looks awesome! Love my lower strut too!! I can't remember if I ran it at combe... WO det how much difference it'll make on track! Need to get the upper brace on! RE: Phase Win 6 - strictly_perv - 28-08-2013 Looks epic Vaugh. We can be felt spec ph1 fwends! They made such a huge difference to mine! RE: Phase Win 6 - Grant - 02-09-2013 Thats horrific arch gap. You could hide a pack of nuns in there! RE: Phase Win 6 - Niall - 02-09-2013 Yeah it is pretty terrible. How comes its so bad Vaughan? They are in the hubs all the way right? Or is it just that you have no pinchbolt on the drivers side so its basically fallen out? :p RE: Phase Win 6 - Grant - 02-09-2013 Zip tied the pinch bolt holes IIRC RE: Phase Win 6 - vlj - 02-09-2013 No its all located in. Need to raise the beam as the back end is extremely tail happy now RE: Phase Win 6 - Dum-Dum - 02-09-2013 Surely raising the beam will make it even more tail happy as there will be less weight on the back of the car RE: Phase Win 6 - Grant - 02-09-2013 Or just lower it properly ![]() Re: RE: Phase Win 6 - vlj - 02-09-2013 (02-09-2013, 07:14 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: Surely raising the beam will make it even more tail happy as there will be less weight on the back of the car I don't lower the beam by putting weight in the boot... ![]() RE: Phase Win 6 - Niall - 02-09-2013 (02-09-2013, 07:14 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote: Surely raising the beam will make it even more tail happy as there will be less weight on the back of the car Lol is that serious? By having it that low at the back, you are increasing positive castor. Not always good. He has probably gone up about 30mm in ride height. Bet thats a substantial difference in castor. |
